چکیده
Varieties of energy-stable numerical methods have been developed for incompressible two-phase flows based on the Navier-Stokes–Cahn–Hilliard (NSCH) model in Eulerian framework, while few investigations made Lagrangian framework. Smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) is a popular mesh-free method solving complex fluid flows. In this paper, we present pioneering study SPH discretization NSCH We prove that inherits mass and momentum conservation energy dissipation properties at fully discrete level. With projection procedure to decouple continuity equations, scheme meets divergence-free condition. Some experiments are carried out show performance proposed model. The inheritance verified numerically.

Energy Stable Schemes for Cahn-Hilliard Phase-Field Model of Two-Phase Incompressible Flows∗∗∗
Numerical approximations of Cahn-Hilliard phase-field model for the two-phase incompressible flows are considered in this paper. Several efficient and energy stable time discretization schemes for the coupled nonlinear Cahn-Hilliard phase-field system for both the matched density case and the variable density case are constructed, and are shown to satisfy discrete energy laws which are analogou...
متن کاملIsogeometric Analysis of the Navier-Stokes-Cahn-Hilliard equations with application to incompressible two-phase flows
In this work, we present our numerical results of the application of Galerkin-based Isogeometric Analysis (IGA) to incompressible Navier–Stokes–Cahn–Hilliard (NSCH) equations in velocity–pressure– phase field–chemical potential formulation. For the approximation of the velocity and pressure fields, LBB compatible non-uniform rational B-spline spaces are used which can be regarded as smooth gene...

The water wave generation by wave paddle and a freely falling rigid body are examined by using an Incompressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (ISPH). In the current ISPH method, the pressure was evaluated by solving pressure Poisson equation using a semi-implicit algorithm based on the projection scheme and the source term of pressure Poisson equation contains both of divergence free ve...
متن کاملA Nonlinear Model Predictive Concept for Control of Two-Phase Flows Governed by the Cahn-Hilliard Navier-Stokes System
We present a nonlinear model predictive framework for closedloop control of two-phase flows governed by the Cahn-Hilliard NavierStokes system. We adapt the concept for instantaneous control from [6, 12, 16] to construct distributed closed-loop control strategies for twophase flows. It is well known that distributed instantaneous control is able to stabilize the Burger’s equation [16] and also t...
